Students will be asked to create a spinning wheel based on the novel. Students will first create a brief plot summary. In this summary, they will be asked to place emphasis on the settings. They will then present the information in their summary visually in the form of a wheel. The wheel is a central theme in the book, so it is in the interest of the students that they understand this concept and place their settings on the wheel accordingly. The wheel will be made of a paper plate, a butterfly clip, and construction paper.
